Registered Name: Lauradale’s Perfectly Imperfect
Coat color: Agouti
Eye color: Bi-eyed
While it is more often seen in a shade of grey, the term “agouti” means “wild coloration”, having banded hairs in the coat to create a gorgeous color. Agouti’s can also appear as shades of black, or red.
Not only is Reagan unique for her coloration, she is also very special to us because she is missing most of her right ear. Reagan was born to Rozlin’s very first litter, and unfortunately while cleaning Reagan up, Rozlin accidentally nipped part of her ear off. We bonded very closely with Reagan as a newborn, and made the decision to keep her.
Not only will Reagan be staying with us, but she will be hitting the show ring. Having part of her ear missing is an allowable injury for working breeds. In fact, the ONLY Siberian Husky to ever win the Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show was Ch. Innisfree’s Sierra Cinnar, who did so missing part of his ear!
At only 7 months old, Reagan won Best of Breed over champions and grand champions, as well as a Group 1. At 7 months old, she had her first time in the Best In Show ring, and this win finished her UKC Championship, with only 3 weekends of showing under her belt.
Reagan took a break from the ring for a few months, and had her first show back at 10 months old in January 2015. Reagan earned 3 legs toward her Grand Championship that weekend, along with 3 Best of Breeds, one Group 2, two Group 1’s, and a Best In Show!
Best of Breed wins: 4
Group 1 wins: 3
Group 2 wins: 1
Best In Show wins: 1
